1. Place your portafilter on a scale and tare the weight.
2. Grind 18-21 grams of coffee beans into the portafilter basket. For optimal taste, the grind is as fine as possible. This may take a bit of refinement for the perfect flavor.
3. Distribute the coffee grinds evenly in the basket. Use your finger to swipe across the basket to level the grounds. Rotate the basket 90 degrees, swipe again. Repeat this 3-4 times.
4. Tamp the grounds. Spin to level out the top.
5. Place the portafilter into the grouphead and start your shot.
6. Let drip for approximately 30 seconds. Stop the shot before the espresso begins to blonde.
7. Serve & enjoy!
